I'm still recovering from jet lag, but thought I'd better post something. I found some great art supplies in Australia -- a 1978 Australia Post magazine, a 1964 Tasmanian agriculture magazine, a 1959 Australian Electronics magazine, and a 1972 Australian Woman's World. Also some rusted bits of metal from this great hardware/second hand store. I'm hoping to make some more altered art pieces for my kimbagwill etsy shop.
This great blog Cuteable featured my Dangerous Baths notecard, in a shark/fish themed post.
Onthedotcreations, a fabulous blog featuring only polka dot items, included my cow birthday card in a post, too.
Also, a co-worker stopped by my desk this morning and said she was in San Francisco this weekend, saw my billboard, and took a photo of it. Maybe I'll be able to post it later this week. Not sure how much time I'm going to have since I have to get ready for a weekend trip to Illinois next weekend, and I still have to create some new art because the Mincing Mockingbird and I were contacted by Kelly Whitmer, who owns a very cool shop called regeneration in Los Angeles who wants us to do a joint show at her shop. She features a lot of very cool recycled, and eco-friendly art and household items.

ooh, vintage magazines!
sometimes i have to get a whole other suitcase to carry back the weird things i buy for art!
I know! I actually debated against a hardback book, and then changed my mind and lugged it all over Australia in my backpack. Haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it was worth it.
